This evening course, hosted by Mr Nev Davies, Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedics Surgeon, will cover a range of orthopaedic topics in children and adolescents. The evening will open with a discussion on trauma and physeal fractures, looking at basic anatomy, injury patterns, rehabilitation as well as the management of growth plate injuries.

The second half of the evening will consist of Mr Davies’ update on paediatric orthopaedic “hot topics”. He will touch upon ACL injuries in adolescents; slipped upper femoral epiphysis (SUFE); traction apophysistis; and painful flat feet as well as the current management principles of these conditions.
